Anyone hear of Elfster? It is the world's #1 Secret Santa Generator. Might be easier to use that next year.

I think Elfster might be a gimmick to get your participants to buy stuff from their vendors.

Dear All,
I must apologise for not following this exchange this year.
I had a bad turn of events since late November to early January. I would not wish on anyone here. Things have returned to normal slowly but surely!
I haven't forgotten my recipient. I had despatched to the receiver. It should arrive next week if the tracking number indicates. This person will get extra gift next month after I properly sorted everything at my end first.
Indeed, it was a lovely surprise when I receive a strange envelope from Canada in late November. I said to myself: did I know anyone from Canada besides my art commissions? This artist returned home to France this month.
I opened the envelope and was surprised with 4 $2 coins and silver dime and quarter from Canada's centennial along with old Canadian large cent.
It did not occur to me that it was from this group! Sadly, I misplaced the envelope with coins until yesterday I found it.
rrgoodie reached out to me last week as I was planned to message him that I haven't forgotten his group! I just hope he and all of you are not angry at me. I sincerely apologise from the bottom of my heart!
Next year, I will do two shipments as a penance.
Next post will be about my Secret Santa, I hope it was him! :) For there is no indication in the envelope that it is from our group.
I will reach out to my recipient tonight.
I trust everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a good start to their New Year!
Regards,
Carrigna

Thank you, Secret Santa, for lovely coins! It is lovely to see two different $2 coins with painted colours and without them. Both commemorated two famous Canadian artists's 100th anniversary of their births. 2023 $2 coin is poignant because it is the last time the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II would be on Canadian coins. That is what I understand. Haida artist Bill Reid's works on former $20 bill is my favorite one! Delighted to have his works on the $2 coins as well! I am still working on getting this particular $20 bill. Silver centennial coins are always a welcome bonus as they are lovely to have! Nice large Canadian one cent coin which I do not have many in my collection and it is going to be a great addition! I would need to find my magnifying glass somewhere! So I can find what year it is. Please accept my sincere apologies for my belated confirmation of your beautiful assortment of Canadian coins! By the way, the stamps on the envelope was not postmarked at all! I was and still am just pleased the coins arrived safe and sound. I do hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! With much gratitude, Carrigna

Rggoodie wrote: "He has received his exchange and will be posting soon. His parcel arrived damaged and he is trying to figure out if anything was missing."
The only damage was that the envelope's flap was not 100% secure.
I just posted the contents and hopefully my Secret Santa would contact me via personal message here to confirm if they are all accounted for or not.
Another reason was that there is no confirmation whether it is my Secret Santa or not.
Many thanks for reaching out to me as when I was about to message you! It was and still is much appreciated!

Can we keep this open until my receiver gets the packet?
It will arrive next week.
Many thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding!
