Interesting ... one would think though that if it was to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the $2 coin then it would have been released back on 20 June, as was the case for the 30th anniversary set.

Looks like a re-hit of that 2018 set of copies of previous releases. Wonder how many times we will see these? RAM must be getting desperate for ideas? In any case, we could be fairly certain they will available on ebay PRIOR to the official release and I would bet that the RAM's official release will be yet another bun fight! Someone pass the popcorn, this is going to be interesting to watch....

Looks like it won't be happening. There is a note saying "no longer in force" and a repealed date of 15 Sep 23. Wonder what happened?

Yes, I received an email today from RAM listing their November new releases. I wonder how they'll cope with orders this time!

Quote: I wonder how they'll cope with orders this time! RAM eshop is not available to purchase the new Queen 'Commemoration' coin tomorrow so expect the same for this 35th anniversary release. Passing the buck again, phone orders available though.

Good to see those coins are getting released. Who would want to be working the phones on release day? May God help them. Why on Earth doesn't the RAM simply release these things through a ballot? Surely that would be easier and a lot less stressful for ALL parties involved? Anyway, this will be interesting.

I am wondering if the value of the 2018 set will go up or down after this new release?

Quote: They are on ebay for presale already. Mintage 35000 WOW,, had to have a look jens coins, 2 sellers as of 5.15 pm 1/12/2023. 1 auction at over $550 already with seven days to go. The other a 'Pre order' at $1300, where I assume you have got the mintage from, you seem to be correct on the price also. Think I need a truck load of luck to score one of these sets at release price. Have to have a crack though.
