This Coin is not worth it to send in.

seller shot to hide the scratch above the eye - just hate that
If you are not comfortable with the scratch above the eye I would return the coin. Chances are every time you view the coin your eye will be drawn to the scratch. Never talk yourself into a coin.

52Raymo, I believe you are correct! I went over the coin very carefully and did comparisons and I noted a number of inconsistencies. Thank you - did not occur to me to do this. I was ascribing differences to photos taken in different lighting, etc. by me vs. the seller. Anyway, I contacted the seller directly and told them I wanted the coin pictured and sent pictures of both coins. Worst case, I get my money back. First time I've ever run into this. Thanks again for the thought.

Yep, the more I've analyzed, the more I'm certain it's not the coin that was pictured. Back it goes.

No, the coin you were shipped is a Chinese counterfeit. You likely purchased this from seller alisonscoins or brads.parts.n.tools or judysjar a known, long time seller of counterfeits.
Uses photos of genuine coins (and has a stockpile of them, rotating through), then ships fakes. Be sure to report and leave accurate feedback of this.
Main diagnostic for all of you who couldn't identify - note the die chip just below the bust.

Personally, I think it looks cleaned. Hope I'm wrong, but looks like the sellers pics hid more than the scratch.

Now that I look closer, the coin pictured appears to be in an older ngc/PCGS slab. Shadows look weird on the left side indicating it might be in a slab.
Pretty sure you were sent a different coin.

Instead of further conjecture, see my reply just a few above for 100% accurate facts, and the link posted by Everest for NGC comparison photos. A quick search from sold listings shows the coin shown in the original post was sold by alisonscoins, surprise.

Indian Hoarder - thanks for the additional information. Coin went back today for refund. I've still got to give props to 52Raymo, who made me really analyse the coin and see that it was not the same. How can ebay allow a person who is selling fake coins to continue on the site?
