Got this for my 7070. I think high AU. Paid $235 'cause of the "ding" in the field under the nose. (I think these are my best pictures of a gold coin too!)

Thanks in advance,

A.

Very nice, the ding is small so I don't think it will effect the grade. Going to say AU-55.

Properly graded and well-bought, in my opinion. I've been thinking about an LED rig for lighting, acidic1 - how is yours set up?

Ah - hadn't realized you were using a Dino-lite. Nice pics from inexpensive hardware - I like it.

You might want to get one of these. I love it. I just can't come up with a bad thing to say about it. It will get you RIGHT down on a coin.

...but you probably already have one...do you?.

Nope. I've got a QX5 for the really tiny details, but the dSLR is the workhorse of my imaging efforts. Remember, for me the pictures are as much a part of collecting as the coins themselves - I "specialize" not in a particular issue, but in coin photography.

Funny how that happens.

I'm deciding between a Blu-ray player and another coin as we speak. We both know what's going to win.

Nice AU. Great pictures too, though the lighting definitely makes it look polished IMO. Does it have remaining cartwheel luster?
