We are all collectors of coins, that is why we are here, their are different levels of collecting a beginner, to a pro. and everything in between. As a beginner and you find something odd or interesting, keep it, it is a start of a collection which is very cool but after you find a lot of the same kind of coin then you will likely spend them. I believe that those bumps is zinc gas escaping, creating a dome, you can see a hole in the middle where gas is released, the coin will soon turn into dust.
