Any Ideas what these marks are right below Washington's earlobe and next to the Philadelphia mint mark?
Ive added a photo of the exact same coin for reference.

@couch, those are so-called "bag marks", which happen when another coin (likely another quarter) impacted this one with its edge. You are seeing individual digs from the reeding.
