a rare report from the field. this 2024-P nickel was in circulation for at least a few minutes before it made it's way onto the pavement at the winn-dixie parking lot. I just now salvaged it, 1:56am. it's very shiny look caused me to put my glasses on to see if it was new, and it is, but has a few scratches on it. it'll get returned to circulation soon:    so the new nickels are on the island.  I will watch for more. |

The pennies and quarters are in AL, I have several rolls of pennies and received two quarters yesterday.

I'm in North Alabama and only have found 3 2024 D Pennys. still looking for one of the 2023 Quarters (Jovita Idar P)

As of today, June 7, 2024, I have received exactly zero 2024 coins in change.

received in change @ publix about half an hour ago:   a nice new paradigms pair o' dimes. the 2024 cents, nickels & dimes are on the island, but I haven't seen a new quarter yet. a few nights ago I picked a 2024-D LSC from the ground, so LSC from both mints are being chucked regularly down here now. |
