I see 3 splits (TDO) but maybe someone w/ more experience can confirm quads. Nonetheless.... nice coin!

@coin rejector - I see three splits too, but I also see only 3 splits on PCGS pics of the FS-105? Also has the flared G on the reverse and the die marker by the lips as shown on Variety Vista. http://varietyvista.com/12%20Kenned...4DDDO005.htmidk - I'm still learning too. Hoping for more experts to weigh in.

Well, that's definitely it. I would note that although the CPG, VV, and presumably PCGS call FS-105 a quadrupled die, the Wexler catalog describes it as tripling.
In the NGC VarietyPlus reference, I believe you can see quadrupling on the center serif of the W and the left serif of the U.

That is an impressive variety, congrats! What did it grade or have you sent it off yet? Not sure if you just got it in hand from a seller or the TPG.

I kave many time this question: Why Quad? !!
Easy " 1. Master hub the first doubled on Master Die 2. Master die the seond on the Working Hub 3. The Working Hub on the Working Die 4. The Working Die transfer to the coin ( finish product )
So we have 4 transfers with 3 splits. Not archimede theorema, just how the Mint work in time.
In conclusion: You see three splits from 4 steps. So QDO. The Wex has also the TDO which it is another game ball. Analyzing the product (finish) with the method of production, we can separate the minings of splits.
Different opinions but BRAND the Wex tripled is not this one.
