These rolls have sat untouched since they were bought Should I open then and search through them? The 2 partial rolls had given me some interesting coins. Report this Post to the Staff

However, the sentimentality of keeping my father's rolls intact might override that urge. Seeker_101 Pillar of the Community United States 1791 Posts	Posted 01/19/2024 2:31 pm I opened 1 full roll and nothing but found more partial rolls which yielded quite a few die chips - all in the normal locations for the coins. I did have 3 New Mexico with strange marks. I would have chalked it up to damage if on 1 coin but 3 with the same marks is too much of a coincidence. Will post when I can magnify enough. i did have 1 that was missing a 0 in the date. Unfortunately, it was gauged out afterward. Report this Post to the Staff
