So almost 2 weeks after going on sale, I see on the Mints site that both Peace and Morgan are still available. Now using the "page source" trick to see how many I'm getting a response of 1 / 1,941. Can anyone confirm if I'm seeing it right....1,941 still available for the Morgan ( it's been a few years since I used the "page source" trick )....thanks,

Hey all, checking in. Sadly I passed on the 2024 Morgan's and Peace. With the current price I don't see any future appreciation. My dealer already got 2 in that he would pay under the selling price. I just don't think this will be a big hit like the 2021. Like Dearborn said, I've been buying gold instead.

USM acknowledged my return today, via email. We'll see if my request for replacement (indicated on the return form) takes place in a timely manner.

@morgan's dad,
I really really really wanted to continue the Peace set at least, but the 2023 are now worth under $50 at my LCS, that I just don't see buying these from the mint. For a little more you can buy them slabbed and graded at 70. If you want perfect it might make the most sense to just buy them on the secondary market.
The large dealers pick up hundreds of these at a slight discount and probably pay $10 a coin to get them slabbed that its cheaper to them then it would ever be to us.

I plan to only purchase the proofs this year. I bought the UNC Morgan P and Peace in 2021 and the Reverse proof set last year. This will get me one of each finish and I'll be done. Those prices are HIGH!

USM called yesterday. The "replacement" vs. "refund" process was a bit of a mess. They needed to complete a refund to my CC before they could initiate a new order-- charged to the same CC-- for the replacement. I directed them to do the refund only. I initiated a new order-- with a different CC -- and should get my replacement next week. With my luck, I'll probably have to send that one back too. Fingers and toes crossed

@hfjacinto, thank you for this post! I'm with you on the gold... Just wanted to show my 2024 Uncirc Peace dollar, I don't return stuff so I will have to adjust...it looks terrible I really think all the responses stating they are already minted are correct, like last year IMO... Likely why the milk spots, something to do with storage heat, humidity IDN.. I have not had any get worse after receiving them, not to say they won't, just not yet! My climate might have something to do with that, who knows..

G58NoReserve, why not return a bad coin when you get it? It's easy, the mint sends you a return label for free. Those milk spots on the Peace are bad. It's only worth melt value in my opinion.
Use the search line here on CCF, you'll find posts about milk spots. I bought some 2023 silver Britannia with milk spots, sent them back, got refund and they are just bullion not a collectable.
