Grading? Indochina "Better Photo's"

I tried a few different tricks with this one. I cant get a good shot of the reverse near the bottom. It is sharp in detail. I have never seen one of these, so I do not know what detail is suppose to be on the head. It seems to be silver.

Try taking the coin out of the 2x2 and take the pictures again. This coin is the Standard issue of the Federated States/French Union. issued in 1946 and 47. there are two types KM#32.1 with a security edge and KM#32.2 with a reeded edge. The first being the more valuable issue. From what I can tell from your pictures your coin looks to be EF-40.

There seems to be significant wear on the lions head (obverse). I would call this piastre VF. Here is one for comparison:

Also Krause lists this coin as copper-nickel.

Thanks for the help! The link from snowman help greatly. Mine is no different than that one. It is a little tarnished as you could see. There is no wear on the coin at all. So I will guess VF to EF border.
