1988 D Roosevelt Dime Doubled Die Obverse / DDO ?

For the major Cherrypicker Guide variety coins, you can usually view multiple real examples on PCGS, which is super helpful for viewing the whole coin. Worth pointing out: in 15000 nickels, I have yet to find a verified CPG doubled die (although I have found one candidate, and a whole bunch of minor modern DDR nickels). They are few and far between. SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 03/03/2024 11:56 pm @Brandmeister hunting nickels is one of the worst denominations for CPG-listed doubled dies, since almost all the major doubled dies in the series are on 30s-40s dates, which you don't get to see a lot of in circulation these days. Hunting pennies is easily the best bet for CPG-listed varieties. Report this Post to the Staff

I just haven't been able to get into cents. Partly because of Zincolns, partly because $20 of pennies seems like much more of a time sink than $20 of nickels. Report this Post to the Staff
