Hello everyone,

This topic is all over the forums will all sorts of old-ish and new-ish information.

I am considering starting a Mercury dime and Washington quarter, 1932-1964, album.

I'm trying to consolidate information with this thread...

Currently I have tubes of mercs, tubes of walkers, and capsules for better coins

ANY information would be highly appreciated. I am less concerned about price and more about use, durability, and preservation.

Thank you all!

The Dansco is nice, but it has a lot of space at the end so you have to fill it with something. While I've had issues with a few Whitman, the silver coins look really nice against the blue pages. The below are old pictures, I've upgraded a few of the coins.

I am a Dansco owner and I love how the coins look in the beige pages, it seems more natural to me. It is important to know that I started moving my coins from the blue Whitman folders to Dansco albums in 1984, so it may be that my brain associates the blue as being lesser quality (as folders are compared to albums). As we used to say around here, your mileage may vary.

That being said, I see no problem choosing the Whitman albums if the blue is more appealing.

Since the Whitman albums are made in China, can they be trusted?

I do agree that silver coins look nice with the blue background.

If we got rid of everything that was made in China, we would have very empty houses.
