The one on the left (1863) an Army-Navy? Does anyone know exactly what this is? Is it like an officers coin in the military?

They are both Civil War tokens, one of the patriotic variety and the other of the store card(business advertisement) variety.
Small change was scarce during the Civil War so the tokens were privately made to supplement the change supply. They are the same size and composition as contemporary Indian Head cents.

Thank you for the help. At first glance I was thinking of the army-navy ball games. Of course they did not play back then.
