Hi there I received a nickel in my change yesterday that I think may be an error coin. It is missing the face but has some lettering around the edge. It looks as ic it was stamped off kilter. The back also has spots on it that look like it was stamped wrong or something. Can you please let me know if I found something cool. Thanks again Cheers!
It looks like your coin has been damaged. Both sides show evidence of grinding or scraping, possibly a Dryer Coin or it could have been intentionally damaged. If you weigh the coin it will come up under the 5 grams that it was designed to weigh. Just a spender but keep looking and post anything you have questions about.
