I'm not sure if it's just some grease. I really don't like to clean coins because one can never know what substance is that and if it decides to react with even mild dish soap. I do not want to use acetone, not yet anyway, maybe someone here can suggest something else? Report this Post to the Staff

Svant Valued Member United States 60 Posts	Posted 04/28/2024 10:04 am 1. It was 100% acetone. 2 no, I haven't even heard of Verdi care. Thank you for the advice, I will go check that out right away. Just curious, do you think it might help to erase or at least minimize those nasty fingerprints that unfortunately often found on copper plated coins?
