JB.....Maybe some 2008's will come up in "a contest" too ! ...... ... That's ONE WAY to get em' ! ...... the "pocket change" circulation method isn't productive there ! ....

I actually saw 2008 coins at the last show that did not appear to be satin finish. I might just break down and get them next time.

South Carolina. Finding new coinage seems to have been on the decline for several years now, probably because everyone is turning in their spare change. The silver lining is that I am finding a lot of copper cents in my change these days!

Finally got one in change today at the McDonald's on the Muskogee Turnpike between Muskogee, Oklahoma and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Wasn't in the best shape but it's still a keeper. It's a D mint.

Still no sign of 09's here in central Fl. but I did get 3 uncirculated D's and P's off ebay for $1.15~~ As far as the 08's go,, I have hundreds, and see them everyday in either roll searching or pocket change.

My biggest problem with finding recent dated coins is that I use cash a lot less than I did ten years ago. I also quit roll searching. All of my banking is done online, so I seldom visit a bank these days. I think my problem is easily remedied! So tempted to get some rolls. So tempted.

~~`I can't go a full week without searching a roll. Although Other than some au 60's --- Some decent wheats, and a 1920 In really good condition, prety brown but not much wear. I havn't found hardly anything, but I'm going to keep going at it, to hopefully find some nice die varites, errors, A doubled ear 1984/ etc. Has anyone else had any luck recently with roll searching (cents). -
