It's been great to see spence's Italian denari here, a class of medievals which don't get a lot of exposure on CCF. Though I have a number of medieval Italians, they are mostly later, and different denominations, but I can post this recent acquisition of a nice denaro of the city of Ferrara, in the name of emperor Frederick I, broadly dated from ~1200 to 1344 (when the first coin with a LOCAL ruler's name appears ... we will see that one, too!). Nice one @bryan! Speaking of things that don't get much exposure here on CCF, here is a 12th/13th Century Penny from Gotland Sweden:

@tdziemia and @bryan10au, those are wonderful and beautiful coins! Quote: here is a 12th/13th Century Penny from Gotland Sweden Yes, those we don't see often here. "Post your Gotland coins" would probably be a rather short thread . . . Yours is a very interesting and attractive penny (penning in Swedish) from the first generation of Gotland coins. Thanks for sharing!

Quote: "Post your Gotland coins" That would a short thread indeed! Speaking of other threads, a while back I did a Crusader States thread http://goccf.com/t/285873). Are deniers from the Crusader States welcome on this thread too? I'll post one just in case the answer is yes. This one is from 12th Century Jerusalem.
