Gosh, I leave the thread unattended for a day, and you completely flood it with wonderful deniers!
Well, according to my limited knowledge, there were two hellers on a pfennig. Wikipedia gives some support for that:
Since I outruled obols in my rules, and a 15th/16th century heller would correspond to the obol, the answer would have to be no, they do not fit. This is however a bit outside my area, so I am open to other suggestions.
Like Spence, I rely on Duplessy here, so I agree with 1150-1200.

In Swabia the Heller originally corresponded to the Pfennig, so that there were 240 Heller in a Charlemagne pound. However, by an imperial edict of 1385, the value of the Heller was halved, resulting in 8 Hellers = 4 Pfennigs = 1 Kreuzer and 4 Kreuzer = 1 Batzen

Here is a denier from the Bishopric of Vienne . . . It gets attributed to slightly different date ranges, maybe most commonly 1150-1200 (but I look to erafjel or spence to correct me as I am not so familiar with the French "feudal" catalogs).
