no, the 1975 set came with the 1975 Cent, Nickel, and Dime but with the 1974 Quarter and Half Dollar.

So I sent yet another message to the seller, asking for an update to see if they sent the correct set sent to me. I got this reply Quote: No, it hasn't and it's my fault. I was out of town at coin show when your message came it and relayed instructions to someone that was at the office to send you the 1974-d set with a return mailer and I failed to verify that it had been done when I returned. Your order has been a complete fiasco and I'm embarrassed. I am just going to send you the 1974-d set. Keep the 1975 set as an apology and let us never speak of this again. I'm mortified. Your new tracking number is 940010810546430XXXXXXX. I'd love to tell you that I'm not really a moron, but I can't seem to find a single piece of evidence that supports that.

Glad to see this is trending toward a happy ending. The seller took ownership of the issue, apologized for the mistakes, and gifted you a set of coins. You can't ask for much more than that.

Fantastic outcome to this fiasco, Dearborn. I'm glad that you got your set, and the seller has certainly made up for their ineptitude.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The post office fiasco kind of reminds me of one I had a couple of years ago. I came home to a notice of delivery attempt, and that it could be picked up at the post office. So next day I go and they said they didn't have it, but I asked them look some more and they found it. So I go home with the package to find another delivery notice during the time I was picking it up saying they tried to deliver it..... hmmmm.
