David Hartill identifies it as one cash (#21.82), but Krause says that it is 2 cash (KM# 149) Maybe somebody can tell me what exactly is this coin? The value is arbitrary as there are only two or three types in the currency and they have the same value. They are lighter than some "1 cash" coins from similar eras (looking at Numista weights). Hartill says: They weighed 1 quan 6 fen each. (Schjöth and Fischer's Ding both say "value 2".) Report this Post to the Staff

Albert Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 07/11/2024 5:11 pm Look up Nagasaki Trade Coinage incase it's one of those. Nothing was found there, just an idea didn't work out. But if the weight was 1 qian 6 fen, I think that's about 6 grams. If this is a trade coin, maybe the terms 1 cash or 2 cash really don't apply.
