Hi everyone, I have come across a 1978 S stamped over the D or rather right on top of it. Does this have any value? I can find no information on this particular date. Thanks

Yep, seeing pics would be key.
This would be quite unusual since the only documented OMMs are from 1944-56. Particularly since an OMM for 1978 would involve a proof die.
