Is This A Trick Penny? (1957 D) - Coin Community Forum

It's very important to have in the title. * I'm not sure if this is the forum for it, but I got this 1957 D penny a couple of days ago. Damage reveals an outer ring all the way around. The ring will attach to a magnet. I found something similar that is called a trick penny, but the outer ring was a silver color. The "S" in States is missing or rubbed out. Does anyone have an idea on this penny? Report this Post to the Staff
