While there are currently no unique errors on the Tennessee quarter, some suggest the designs of the instruments on the coin are inaccurate. For example, some say the guitar bears the wrong number of strings and the trumpet tubing is located in an incorrect place. Report this Post to the Staff

People were getting tired of the coins by this time and the banks weren't going to as much effort to provide them early in the program. Primarily it is said to be related to higher demand. I've been told many of these have been distributed at various musically related venues and particularly, Graceland. There may also be some demand from the "Grand Old Opry", Memphis, and Dollywood but this is speculation. Tennessee is downtown music now days. Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
