Hey coinnoisseurs I've never seen this type of error. is it a blank obverse capped die? It's hollow as if it were missing the copper. very strange. it's very off weight for it to be a copper cent tho.

Half of a Magicians coin? I don't think it's an error coin. I suspect PMD.

The magic is how to remove half coin without damaging it , I've never seen one before but I think Magicians coin is right!

Magicians coin comes to mind immediately,
but doesn't show the circular groves that most of them show.
How was the material removed without leaving any evidence/tooling marks on the surface. I wonder?
