I stay logged into ebay and they only rarely ask me to provide my credentials. Today I've tried to save auctions to my Watch List and was told to sign in. There's different ways to do this (passkey, which I have or password). Either way I get kicked right back to where I started. I try again to no avail.

I've recently had issues logging into ebay. If I made a mistake typing password they sent me a text code to phone rather than letting me type in the password again. Also they've been showing the option to create a PIN.

It may make a difference what device you are using, phone, tablet, computer. ebay might be asking for different credentials depending on the device.

I generally do not stay logged on with any site. Sometimes I'll stay logged in to ebay while checking prices on another site. But there is a slight increased security risk doing this. If you are on your computer doing other things, email, documents, on another site, if someone hacks into your computer they would have access to any site you are logged into.

I called ebay. I was told they have received other reports. I'll just wait until they fix it. Thanks.
