Grand total of one 2009-D circulation dime for me, Jbuck. I think it was 2011 when I found it. Rumor had it most of them went to Arizona, or as I heard it. God only knows how it got to Michigan. I would bet a snowbird brought it.
Fifteen years later, all I ever really see from 2009 are the cents and quarters on occasion.
Thru a solid month of cent CRH, not one 2024 cent. So all I have seen this year are the quarters in change. I think 2025 cents, nickels and dimes are going to be a challenge as well.

I found several in a box earlier this year. I set them aside and must have accidentally turned them all in to the coin machine. I haven't seen any since then in probably 40,000 nickels.

While I haven't personally been able to verify Arizona as being a release point for 2009 Denver dimes (and nickels), that does make sense. And we got plenty of 2009-D dimes out here in SoCal (and, from what I can tell from my Vegas-area CRH excursions, Nevada)...

Sounds like it was the US Southwest for sure, John77.

Thru a solid month of cent CRH, not one 2024 cent. 2024-D cents have been turning up in SoCal, but not in big quantities... finding a few batches of 1,000 MWR coins (20 rolls) where I might find 10, but that's been about the max so far. Quote: Sounds like it was the US Southwest for sure, John77. Indeed, DoubleEagle20... I would think Colorado, Utah, and Montana would be other possible distribution areas for the 2009 coins, and *maybe* the pacific northwest. I'm hoping to visit relatives in Oregon next summer before my planned move to the Vegas area late next year - definitely will try to do some coin sampling while up there to test my theories.

That's good information, Yldcoin. Thanks! I'm still stuck on the one I found.

Yes, they are sparingly down here. I did find another 2024P. So, 2 Philly's and one Denver so far.
