No, and I coin roll hunt $20 of nickels every week. It's surprising to be this far through the year and not to have seen a single one.

Brandmeister, you're not alone... The nickel mintages haven't moved much - the totals for both mints are still below the historic 2009 numbers... I'd love to know what parts of the country have been getting them. https://www.usmint.gov/about/produc...Seriesyears=

Prediction. 2025 Jefferson nickels and possibly Roosevelt dimes will be mint set only coins. With demand so low, the mint may skip circulation mintings of them and start minting the 2026 sestercentennial coins early so they can be released in early January 2026.

Yep, one single 2024 P. And I'm just west of Philly.

Have I found one CRH? No. However, I did find two in the uncirculated mint set that was delivered last week.

I have to cheat, or else no holes will get filled! Yeah, I guess sometimes you just have to cheat lol. Actually I've been pondering buying some 2024 mint sets from my LCS for awhile now.

I resisted as long as I could. The West Point bonus cents in 2019 had me buy my first uncirculated mint set since 2009—another purchase driven by special cents! Since I opted to do a subscription, I kept it for the nickels in 2020, even though we were robbed of the 2020-W uncirculated nickel! When I realized I was able to fill all those holes at one time, I just kept the subscription active and have relied on it since. Good thing I did.

Im glad I cheated in 2009. 15 years later, I have never received a 2009-P or D nickel in change. The two in my Whitman are mint set coins. This year I just bought the 2024's from dealers, so I don't hafta fuss over looking for them in change or break up a mint set. Cheat away, Jbuck!

The West region of the country, including Southern California and Nevada, seems to have received a good number of the 2009 Denver coins, while Florida appears to have been a destination for the 2009 Philly coins, along with Puerto Rico... the rest of the country was largely shut out from what I can tell.

My wife is from LA, so I was getting most of my Denver stuff from her family's change. Before 2020 we went to Walt Disney World at least once (usually twice) a year and I would always find current P and D coins there. My 2009 finds (except that pesky dime) came from one of those two sources.
