Funny thing is that the 1966 nickel has about the same scarcity as the 1938 in VF or better condition. Most have been lost or destroyed and the survivors are almost all beat up and worn out. Everyone will be happy when they find a '38 and nobody notices the '66's are almost all gone. Even a nice attractive '66 in low grade is hard to find because they are mostly culls that circulate.
Now you can find rolls of 1938's of any mint in any condition but finding rolls of '66 is impossible in circulated grades and difficult as BU.
