I mentioned before that I didn't like the placement of the star privy. Instead of squeezing it between the initials and the rim I think it would have looked better here...

I saw these star-Eagles for sale on a day silver was down a little, and decided to get one. I find modern Eagles to be way too plain with too-dull luster & feel, so the only reason for me to buy a current one is if the price makes sense. ANYHOO, I only just looked into what the star privy is all about, mintage, etc. I am STILL befuddled... Am I right in saying the UNITED STATES MINT decided to mint "special" bullion coins FOR A VIDEO GAME COMPANY? Has the Franklin Mint taken over the US Mint?

The star privy I ordered a couple weeks ago just showed up in my mailbox today, but I will have to wait until tomorrow to go get it.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but all the slabbed star privy ASEs I've seen have a "(P)" designation, indicating they were minted at Philadephia. But I cannot find anything on the U.S. Mint site that indicates this. From my understanding, TPGs know where a monster box comes from based on labeling of the box. Is it safe to assume that all the star privy coins (specifically unslabbed) were minted in Philly even though it doesn't say so on the U.S. Mint site? Edit: I went back to the JM Bullion site and looked at the product page...they're specifically saying they were minted in Philly, so I guess I will take them at their word.

The Nice Gang Website says the next one will be Spring 2025. Does anybody have an idea of what Privy Mark that it will be?
