Rough-Oblong-Copper-Slug
Any help on attribution? This is likely some Indian coin. It is copper, measures 20.2x14.8 mm and weighs 3.44 grams.

My first impression is that it is an Arabic imitation of a byzantine follis, (ca) 700 CE. I don't have the correct weight handy though.

It does look like Arabic Byzantine. The form of the planchet is a bit unusual, but it might have been clipped into this shape...

ARAB BYZANTINE COIN AE FALS UMAYYAD CALIPHATE IMITTATING CONSTANS II 641-668 AD

It is Constans II Byzantine, the question is if it original Byzantine, or Arabic imitation.
I am not an expert on these. When they are in better shape, usually Arabic are cruder that actual Byzantine. This one is in pretty rough shape.
If there are experts here please let us know....
