CCFPress Press Manager United States 1420 Posts	Posted 03/07/2026 3:08 pm PCGS - The 1795 Off-Center Bust Dollar came to be when the engraver punched the Liberty bust too far left into the die. Steel to make the dies was expensive, so the engraver completed the die, and coins were struck as normal. The Off-Center Bust is rarer than the centered bust, especially in Mint State grades.
