PCGS - Every serious Seated Liberty collector knows and dreams about the iconic 1871-CC quarter. Just 10,890 were struck, and most of them were lost or melted down. PCGS estimates that fewer than 100 gradable examples remain. In PCGS AU55, this rose-gold toned piece reigns as the highest-graded About Uncirculated example. It recently sold at GreatCollections Coin Auctions for $115,312.
