MS62, the headband zigzag still has each individual bead, but the feathers are a bit worn.

I'm not very keen on grading the indians but I thought this on would go MS. I bought it for $185 marked as XF. I checked the rims real good and there are no hairlines or evidence of cleaning.

$185? That's an awesome price! This reminds me I need to get some classic US gold.

These incuse coins are so tough. I bought one recently for $225 labeled AU+ and it looks better than my MS-63 certified one. If one weren't slabbed, I doubt I could tell the difference actually.

I'm a little late to this party, but the grade is whizzed AU-50, at best.

I am by no means a grading expert when it comes to ms coins. But I do believe that any ms coin is not going to show any signs of wear...that's why we have au.

These coins are very tough to grade. There are many cleaned AU examples being represented as MS coins so you have to be cautious.

The obverse photo is too washed out for me to see any fine details. However, based on the visible loss of detail at the eagle's shoulder on the reverse I think this coin has seen a bit of wear. I'd say AU-55 with a shot at AU-58. There is a faint suggestion of horizontal hairlines on the reverse which could be signs of abrasive cleaning, but I really can't tell from these photos.

$185 is probably a decent price for this coin but I don't think you scored a mint state example this time.

He guys, just got this one back from PCGS and I was pleasently suprised with a MS-62. I was afraid that it was going to come back as cleaned.
