1882 Shield Nickel Die Crack In Motto And Clash Or Sinking Die?

MorganMike Valued Member United States 63 Posts	Posted 12/06/2024 1:40 pm I have this 1882 Shield nickel with a die crack from the rim, through I, through the upper leaf and ends at the cross. My main question is, what is going on with the entire IN GOD WE TRUST motto. The letters are flat, maybe some clashes, sinking die, or what? Report this Post to the Staff
