Got this in change today. Looks like its missing clad. It weighs 5.7 grams. Any ideas? Worth anything beyond a couple bucks?

I'm thinking it's just environmental toning. https://www.error-ref.com/missing-c...ing-rolling/

Weigh it for the loss of the nickel layers. But like E&V stated - just environmental toning!

I could see the clad layer missing from one side, but to have it missing on both? I've never seen it. So I'd have to be leaning heavily towards env. toning. Also seems like the coins weight is spot on. Keep looking, good luck

Cladding weighs about a gram per side on quarters. So it can't be missing cladding.

Toned. But an interesting looking coin. Keep for fun or reference only.
