"Steel Error"? - in 1943 the US mint switched to zinc coated steel planchets.

I went through a phase where I was really into these. Even though there were a pile of them minted and not rare, I just thought they were cool, where they were a one-off date made totally different than any other cent. It was a fun learning experience for me.
