The "crisis" is supposedly fentanyl crossing the border. From Huffington Post:

"In 2024, the amount of fentanyl seized at the southern border was over 21,000 lbs. Only 43 lbs. were seized at the border with Canada."

Currently I am in the UK attending the London and Midland Coin Fair

I would be interested in reading a review of these fairs if you feel like writing about it. Maybe post it in the Numismatic Calendar | Coin Shows, Release Dates sub-forum.

Let's assume for a minute that nobody comes to their senses and the tariffs last a long time. Do the prices of Canadian coins inflate by 25% because U. S. buyers will pay that, or does American demand for Canadian coins evaporate? Dunno.

I thought tariffs were paid by companies exporting goods across the borders. is a little coinshop owner mailing out coins to buyers even included in this? Just asking - don't shoot me too many times.....

This is all sad not going to say much because it would become political fast. I hope for everyone this clears fast before to much damage is done. But am afraid it is not going to happen that way.

Curious if any coinage/exonumia have 'Gulf of Mexico' shown. And, there are the US Denali quarters of 2012..

Mods -- I do understand my post is getting a little off topic. Having said that, see below.

An update -- From a gallery listing. Note Gulf of Mexico.:

White metal medallion, "Map of the World", circa 1820, unsigned, presumably by Halliday,
