Hi there, I found several coins in my Papa's possessions.
Would be glad to read learned opinions about them.
Thanks!

to the CCF, trove! Your Papa's coins are circulated common date Morgans. No great numismatic value but priceless as heirlooms and mementos of your father.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

to CCF.

It is better to post each coin into a topic of its own showing both sides of the coins. That way we may be able to see if there are any VAMs involved with them.

These would be great heirlooms from your father, but as common date coins they contain no numismatic premium.

Agree with above posts, these are common Morgan dollars, and the value would be a bit above melt value. Hold on to them trove, and pass them on to the next generation if you have kids or grandkids. Also be sure to give them the story of your Papa passing them on to you.
