1956 Dime Full Bands? W/ Die Crack - Coin Community Forum

SteveGraves New Member United States 29 Posts	Posted 03/12/2025 8:25 pm This is an uncirculated dime that appears to be in great condition other than a couple of small stains. I believe it has full bands but it also has a die crack on the reverse. Looking at PCGS they have an MS68 FB that has the exact same die crack. What do you guys think? Does that error disqualify it from high MS? I was thinking about sending it in for grading. Report this Post to the Staff

Spence Moderator United States 34447 Posts	Posted 03/12/2025 9:37 pm I'm def not an expert on these things, but I wonder if it isn't so much lightly circulated as the bands were never fully struck up to start with? I had a 1/10 oz Gold Eagle with a die crack and it was graded MS70 by NGC.
