Nice additions. the 12-S is one of the "semi keys".

Thank you, friends!

Yes. From what I can gather, there are seven semi key date coins in the wheat cents. 10-S, 11-S, 12-S, 13-S, 14-S, 22-D and 24-D. There might be others, but these are the ones that have given me the most expense trying to obtain.

I don't know, in some scenarios, some people seem to consider the 11-D a semi key. I don't.

However, I just don't really like the way they look with my business strikes.

Me neither, my proofs and biz coins are in separate binders.

I don't collect proofs outside of Jefferson nickels honestly.

I don't know, I have much more of an affinity for business strike Lincoln cents and wheat cents. That's more my bag personally.

I'm hoping this week I'll end up getting the 10-S and 12-S that I ordered.

With free shipping, I can't really say anything. It is what it is. It just seems crazy to me that some show up remarkably fast, and then others at snail speed.

I should be getting the 1910-S today. Like I said, snail speed.

I believe I ordered it on Christmas eve. It's odd, because there are coins I ordered from ebay after the fact that I received before this one. Lol.

I have some thoughts. I know, it's painful lol
I recently ordered some Indian Head cents. I've had one lonely one from 1899 for awhile now and decided to give them some friends. I don't really know if I want to go all out, and try to collect as many as possible, but I can't imagine it will hurt having a few of them

I am thinking about putting them in the unlabeled ports at the end of my album. I would have to find another place for my Shield cents from 2010-2021, though. But eh, I'm sure I could easily do that.
Not huge on the Shield cents honestly.

Does the tracking show it going back and forth in odd directions? I have had a few do that in the past. Things get put on the wrong truck, go to the wrong RPO, etc.

As long as you can keep those thoughts in check!

It is a fun set, but there are some price pains. The two key dates (1877 and 1909-S) will set you back and the 1866-1872 run is a bit salty. But you can do it in time!

Good old economy mail. Still beats the old days of mailing your order form with a check and wait. Amazon has us spoiled with their 1 or 2 days to get something. I just got a couple coins I ordered on Dec 26th, of course it seems all the sellers are on the East Coast and I'm on the West Coast, plus Christmas and New Years holiday slowed everything down.

There are quite a few Indian Heads that are still reasonably priced to collect unless you start looking for full liberty and diamonds.

Honestly... It says nothing lol

"Shipment history
ebay Standard Delivery:
Sat, Dec 27
7:08pm
Tracking number provided"

Lol that's all there is. Gee, so helpful.
Only reason I know I'm getting it is because of my USPS informed delivery sent me a notification.

@Seamonkey, I just put in an order for a lot of Indian Head cents. Not looking for anything too crazy.

Ah. So you did not go to the USPS tracking page before? You just used what ebay showed, which is not the best, IMHO.

No, I use both. ebay is horrible for tracking.

The USPS page is actually sort of more reliable, depending on the situation.
Most of the time, ebay will bring you to a USPS page that says that they cannot find any tracking info
