I guess it just said "moving within the USPS network" then.

Nope lol Didn't say anything at all Well, I did get one of the semi key date coins today. However, it was not the one I was expecting. Lol. I got the 1912-S, which I ordered after the 10-S ironically. They are both from the same seller. Bizarro. 1912-S Eek! The other 1912 issued Wheat cents could definitely use an upgrade I've also been eying up the 11-S and 22-D.

Very nice addition. I suspect the 10-S will show up tomorrow, fingers crossed. I once ordered an item from the next town over and it ended up going 2hrs north to Sacramento then onto San Francisco and then Hawaii and eventually back.

Thanks, Seamonkey. And yeeeah... Still no updates. I have a feeling it was lost somewhere. The USPS definitely has a tendency to do some weird things like that! I would rather in some cases purchase coins from my local coin shop, but I mean, ebay shopping is just much easier for me personally. I recently found a slabbed G06 graded 1914-S for around 30 dollars after shipping. Wondering if I should purchase it.

Well, I ordered it. Lol. I also ordered the 1911-S, 1914-S, 1922-D, and 1924-D. Whew. That was painful. But I feel like I can finally, for the most part, put my endless search to rest. Lol. I still need that pesky 1960 small date coin, but I mean, that's not an expensive coin at all. So that shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish. Any major key date coins however I will not be purchasing at this time. I will leave that to future endeavors. After obtaining all the semi-key date coins, I will concentrate on occasional upgrades and whatever else of the like. I will definitely update when they come in. After this, I plan on using my time/energy/funds mostly on working on my Liberty nickel set and filling out more spots in my Buffalo nickel collection with nice coins. I've had a lot of fun and it's been super interesting to me cherry picking for nice Liberty nickels and taking my time with it.

Quote:No, I use both. ebay is horrible for tracking. Yes, ebay is incredibly HORRIBLE with their tracking system and how it operates. What I hate most is that when the seller creates the shipping label, the order changes to "Shipped"! but it could take DAYS for a lazy seller to actually walk out of the house to drop the package in the mail - which is why USPS tracking will usually state that it is 'Waiting' for the item before it shows progress through their system. Another thing I can't stand is with the ebay system, there is a glitch that evidently, when a package is scanned somewhere, even before it actually happens, the ebay system will mark it as OUT FOR DELIVERY. It drives me nuts, because this will frequently happen and then when the next scan happens, it will mark it as "DELIVERED," even when it hasn't been. I will get weird notifications that something is out for delivery, at odd times. Like, at 11pm on a Saturday night. Uh... Pretty sure my package isn't out for delivery at this time Quote: can't wait to see them Quote:and that is a great feeling, ain't it? It is! I remember "completing" my set of Jefferson nickels around this time last year and it was a fantastic feeling. That, unlike this set however, was actually complete since there are no expensive coins in it. Within the Lincolns, I'll be missing the 1909-S, 1914-D, 1931-S and of course, the 1909 S VDB. I don't consider the 1922 plain as a part of this series myself personally. I'm also missing the 1970-S small date. However, I don't think this is one personally that I want to obtain. Kind of annoys that it costs that much for this coin merely for something that is a small a detail as the date/mint mark size. I may obtain the 1909-S and 1931-S at some point, as these are the more affordable coins of the major keys. Would make some good, future gift ideas. But for now, I think I'll put these notions to rest.

Dearborn, yes. The Jefferson series cost me I believe like a fraction of what I've spent for my Lincoln cents. I finally, FINALLY got this morning. I also got these yesterday: They are pretty beat up, but cool I guess. I don't know if I want to pursue obtaining more though personally. I should be getting the whole rest of the semi key date coins next week.

Awesome addition. The Indians are a cool series and there are still quite a few at reasonable prices. You could always just get a few here and there just don't settle on beat up ones Look for nice eye appeal ones like your 1906 with even brown toning and be picky. I've seen alot even in good grade that look nice, just avoid the off colored ones and you set will still be very attractive.

Thanks, Seamonkey. Perhaps. I think I'm going to focus more on my sets I'm already working on, though. To be fair, I just bought a 10 coin lot from ebay and just hoped for the best. It would probably be better to hunt down individual coins honestly.

First page is definitely getting there! I do wish the 10-S was a little nicer compared to some of the others I got recently... But it'll do! The 12-S definitely had a little bit more detail. I'm supposed to be getting the 1911-S tomorrow supposedly. We shall see.
