I recently obtained this 1994-D Lincoln Cent, which is in very good overall appearance with no dings, scratches, or noticeable wear, and with its original shine and color (although this is not apparent in my poor photos). A very common coin, but a detail between the letters of the word "America" caught my attention, which becomes a groove that runs around the circumference parallel to the listel until it reaches the letters "NT" for "CENT." I hope it can be seen in the photos. I think it is a minting error, but what kind of error is it? How can I name it for the coin's details sheet?

It's Ridge Ring, a form of Die Deterioration. The die that struck your coin was wearing out. No premium.
