Help With Choosing A Metal Detector.

Honestly, all detectors will find coins/relics. The added spend for advanced machinery simply makes the entire process easier (filtering out trash, depth, etc...) While MineLab is, by far, the top of the line for coins/relics they are spendy. An Equinox 900 will set you back about $1000. Nokta is ideal for entry level metal detecting - you can get into a good machine for a fraction of the cost of a 900. What I would suggest is starting with an entry level machine - something like a Nokta Simplex (around $250). Make sure you like the hobby and if you do, upgrading your equipment is rooted in the hobby :-) My Equinox 900 has paid for itself 10 times over. I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins. It has been great once you get the settings figured out. It is multi frequency detector. My experience with it has been very good. Highly recommend. Report this Post to the Staff
