Some excellent coins with spelling errors guys

Here's another one I found today:

1995 Argentina 1 peso (PROVINGIAS instead of PROVINCIAS)

Although this is an Argentine coin it was minted at The Royal Mint in the UK

That's a nice quality example there Zookeeperz. I have one as well, but it seems to have some minor spots on the reverse, fully lustrous otherwise. I've seen a few of these bandying around, usually in quite low grade. I wonder if the rarity is maybe a bit overstated by Spink?

In the meantime, here's my 1562 sixpence with a misspelling of the monarch's name:

I missed the coins from Hondo and Echidna on the previous page. Nice additions.

Kipster, I wonder if the designer had their head lopped off.
