Daviscfad......

Why did anyone buy those LP2 Sets from you on ebay for $28.95 ?
You "did" inform them that they can still be purchased directly from the Mint for $8.95 plus shipping right ? ....
Are there that many "ignorant idiots" surfing ebay who don't realize this ? ....

Why would someone pay "double" for a LP2 Set on ebay plus fees, Paypal, and shipping, IT'S AVAILABLE FROM THE MINT STILL !

EBAY SELLERS SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY LUCK SELLING THESE SETS FOR ANY MORE THAN $8.95 RIGHT NOW ! ....... It's the darndest thing I gotta say ! ...

Wow, I can not find anything higher than, $39.99-BIN. I might of been mistaken, however I thought I saw them going for more, just a few days ago. I do see that selling the set, of Mint rolls, LP1&LP2 are going for around $90.00. Daviscfad, I was wrong. I also believe you did well, for the Mint still selling the coins, I still can not figure out why some-one would pay almost $30.00 per roll, when the source is still selling them......

I would like to see the final mintage figures for this set and see what they bring in once the Mint is sold out!!
My son accompanied me to IND for the second ceremony and he started selling rolls he obtained while there for $33.00 and it has gradually gone down to $13.00 per roll- very big difference.....

Today I received the 1st of some LP2'S, this 5-set pack was the 1st time I have ever seen the end coins ruined from the Mint, I am use to the bank wrapped rolls being this way, I have never seen this like this before. While I know I am lucky to just get these, this is and never was a concern before, now I would have to ask other's, Did your rolls from the Mint come with the end coins, ground down to the visible zinc core?
I opened 1-box and hope the other's are not like this, odds are not good for them to not be like the opened box........
Rest in Peace

Have you EVER seen rolls gouged up like this from the Mint?I do not know if the coins in between are the same way, if the counter machine did this, I do not think it would be far fetched to think they also are damaged, however on most bank wrapped rolls I have seen the end coins like this, the rest have not been damaged like the ends....

I have 4-more orders of these coins coming to me, I sure hope this is not the case with them!!!PS: Did anyone see the people selling the LP1&LP2 Mint rolls together, they were selling or the bids were up to $89.00 with 5-hrs to go!!

yeah I have seen Lp1-Lp2 selling for that. I was told these lincoln cents were supposed to be better struck coins but it dont sound like it. Remember you only have 7 day to return upon receiving them. I hope the rest are not like it either but you dont want to open the roll and find out.

I received my LP2 rolls today. And I opened my keeper set to put the rolls in tubes...and the D roll was obverse/reverse and my P roll was obverse/obverse. I was kinda ticked. At least my LP1 rolls were both obverse/reverse. But I guess that's just the way it goes...

I received my 4 two roll sets yesterday........once again they put it outside my door just leaning against the side.......
So, thankfully they weren't stolen....
I haven't had time to open my box yet to see "end coins" of the rolls for damage or a reverse showing.....but will do that as soon as I can !
Going on a three day canoe/camping/fishing trip as soon as I get home!
I had the 2009 Native Am. Dollar two roll set come that way though......I couldn't see the "new design" ! ..... (luckily a kind soul sent me a single so I could see it !)

Received my 5 rolls today. Being a few of the guys at work were interested in my set's of the LP1's I figured maybe they'd want a set of the LP2's. Being the kind soul I try to be, I offered them at cost. They didn't want them. So I am going to hold onto mine.
