hello all,
I am not sure what and how to call it...
there some deep line around the Lincoln Memorial.

Are those errors or damage?

1989-D-1c-Error-Or-Damage?

many thanks!

To CCF! Just damage. PMD. Appears to be zinc rot setting in. Just a spender.

Could be just a stain.
Whatever it is, it wasn't there when the coin was struck
so it is just damage with no value above face.

@Nasa_667 - - Agree with all above, stain & possible zinc rot. What about the obverse?
