1942 Lincoln Cent DDO FS-101?

If I might weigh in here briefly - the PCGS examples referenced previously DO show the doubled eyelid very clearly. It's the single most identifying feature of the FS-101 variety; both upper and lower lids are prominently doubled to the point that you really don't need a scope to see them.

Yes, there is doubling on the date as well but not nearly as wide a spread as the eyelids, visible on some circulated examples.

Yes indeed. Apparently the doubled-eyelid type is not well understood. See the images I posted above for further clarity on what eyelid doubling looks like, though keep in mind this is one of the clearest and most obvious examples of the type. Interested folks should check out the other 42 DDOs on VV as well as other dates as many examples are much more subtle. I believe Wexler's site has a good explanation of how the eyelid doubling was created during the hubbing process.
