Not sure, the direction of shadows in correlation with the devices are messing with me. Pretty cool looking though.

I've looked at it for at least an hour before posting the images. Will probably spend more time figuring it out.

It's odd because the upper part looks like a stain but the lower area looks like a struck through. Maybe something to do with a difference in depth?

That kind of puzzled me at first but that is what lead me to believe that it is stuck thru because of the the die scratches go over the top of it. If it was a scratch those lines wouldn't be there.

Great find! Nice Struck Through error. I find that customer wrapped rolls can be better sometimes, in terms of finding errors and varieties.

Thank you E&V. Quote: I find that customer wrapped rolls can be better sometimes, in terms of finding errors and varieties I agree...sometimes. Then there are times when you are getting the rolls someone already searched and returned to the bank. You just never know.

11997755, I'd say it's 50/50 with customer wrapped rolls. It really stinks when someone had searched them already and returned them to the bank. Although sometimes you can find stuff they missed going through the rolls. I remember finding the 1983 DDR-001 going through one customer wrapped roll. It was the only thing I found from the whole roll. https://goccf.com/t/448476&whichpage=1

E&V Nice find. I'll take finding an 83 DDR-001 anytime. That's one (of many) I haven't found yet.

I agree it looks like it was struck through a (some) thread. Congrats.
