Very nice coin but what am I missing as far as why the bid is over $750? https://www.ebay.com/itm/187405944725

Possibly undergraded in the eyes of two or more individuals
who would really like the coin. Who knows these days . It is pretty
much whatever it takes to buy something .
Looks very pleasing and original .

PCGS has this at $950, and it's nice looking, so $750 (sold at $754) doesn't seem like too high a bid.

I guess so but hard to imagine paying full pcgs retail price. Also hard to think $754 is a bargain.

Sometimes the price guides have zero bearing in
the real world .
Certain coins , dealers and collectors will gladly pay
whatever it takes to acquire said item .

Or perhaps the winning bidder woke up with a heck of a hangover and is just realizing what he did!

Appears to be an N12 and if so, most recent auction hammer listed on PCGS was for $1020. Could be a bargain, comparatively.
